Alexis Fermin Felix

Alexis (Alex) Fermin Felix, age 23, passed on October 20th, 2024, in Newton, Kansas. Alexis was the son of Audifa Felix and Jose Felix. He was a beloved brother to Milagros (Mily) and Maria (Elena) Felix. He was a wonderful uncle to his nephews and a caring father to his daughter. 

All those around Alex would describe him as the life of the party. He brought light and positive energy into every room he walked in. Alex was very considerate of those around him and empathetic. Alex found happiness in the activities he did most, such as spending time with family and friends, going out to eat, celebrating the little things in life, and listening to music. 

Visitation and Rosary will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (415 South Ash Street, Newton, Kansas) on Monday, October 28th, 2024 with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm followed by visitation from 7:30 - 8:30 pm.  

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday October 29, 2024 at 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery (1024 East 1st Street, Newton, Kansas).  

Memorials are suggested to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and may be left with the funeral home, Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, 120 E. Broadway, Newton, KS 67114.
