Anna Marie Hanson, 84, died on Monday, December 29, 2014 at her home in Peabody, Kansas.
She was born on June 1, 1930 to Alfred and Eunice (Dowell) Hansen in Peabody, Kansas.
She married Leo K. Hanson June 7, 1957 in Peabody. He died on January 14, 1990.
Anna was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Peabody. She was a nurse’s aid at the Peabody Nursing Home for many years. Her favorite pastimes included, reading, crocheting, sewing and tending to her house plants and outdoor plants.
Other family preceding her in death is a son Darrel Hanson; brother, Robert Hansen; sister, Rosa McEhiney; one granddaughter Jeannette Ebbert; one great granddaughter Brandi Martin.
Survivors include a son Lonnie Hanson of Arizona, daughter Leona Oakman, Manhatten, KS; brother, Francis Hansen, Medicine Lodge, KS; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great children, great-nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
There will be no services held. Cremation has taken place.
Inurnment will be in the Claney Cemetery of Rural Marion, Ks.
