Annabelle Camacho went home to Jesus on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. Annabelle was born June 20, 1950 to Lupe and Helen Corona in Newton, Kansas.
She is survived by her four siblings, Miguel Corona, MaryEllen Southern, Amanda (Richard) Fischer, Rosalee Sanchez.
She was preceded in death by her baby brother, Guadalupe Corona.
Annabelle married Manuel Camacho January 3, 1970 at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Newton, where they raised their family, Jessica Medrano, Manuel Camacho, Jr. (Andrea), Julian Camacho (Veronica), Roque Camacho, Miguel Camacho, 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Annabelle loved taking care of her family by cooking her homemade tortillas and passing them out for her grandchildren, because those were the only ones they would eat. Annabelle’s specialties were her homemade cheese enchiladas and her chile rellenos. Annabelle also loved playing bingo at the American Legion where she had many friends. She was an avid QVC shopper. Annabelle loved to help and plan fundraisers for anyone who was in need or needed help.
Annabelle will be missed by all who were blessed to know her. Her family was her life and she will be forever missed by them.
Memorials are suggested to Phoenix Home Care and Hospice and may be mailed to or left with the funeral home.
