Barry Quentin Tedder died January 31, 2017.
He was born July 25, 1946 in Borger Texas to Howard and Doris Tedder.
July 19, 1966 a car accident changed Barry’s life forever. Barry lived with parents in a house on 1st that he called home. He would sit on the porch and wave at everyone as they passed by, and, would holler “howdy”. You could also see Barry walk down Main in Newton wearing his fedora hat and carrying his brief case.
Barry lived in Pleasant view Home in Inman, Kansas since 2008. The staff there took wonderful care of him, for which his family is very grateful. Prior to living in Inman he lived with his sister Nancy here in Newton. For a number of years he lived in Salina, Ks.
Barry is survived by his brothers, Cliff & Connie Tedder of Austin, Tx. Grady Tedder of Newton, Ks. Calvin Tedder of North Newton, Ks. Ken & Cindy Tedder of Eldorado, Ks. Loren & Lori Tedder of North Newton, Ks. Steven & Mariann Tedder of Allen, Tx. Mike Malcom, brother in law of Hesston. As well as many nieces and nephews. Barry was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Doris Tedder. Sisters, Phylis Tedder Malcom, Nancy Tedder Bryant and her Husband, Bob Bryant Jr.
A viewing will be 10:30am to 11:30am Saturday before the service, at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be at Greenwood Cemetery at 12pm on Sat. Feb. 11th. 2016.
