Beatrice Helen Dey died on March 20, 2008 at the Presbyterian Manor, Newton, Kansas.
She was born on April 15, 1927 the daughter of Mildred and Gordon E. Ellethorpe in Gansevoort, New York.
Beatrice was a former member of the Order of The Eastern Star, Newton and also enjoyed spending time at the Newton Senior Center. While in Newton, she was active in various chapters for the government employees and officials.
She married Max E. Dey on May 18, 1954 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Survivors include a son, Bob Dey and wife Jeanie, Garden City, Kansas; brother, Edward G. Ellethorpe Jr. and wife Beverly, Hudson Falls, NY; 2 sisters, Marilyn A. Swears, Gansvoort, NY and Margaret L. Porter, Gehring Springs, NY.
Preceding her in death were her parents, spouse and 3 brothers, Don, Hubert and Max.
Cremation has taken place, there will be no services at this time.
Memorials may be made to Caring Hands Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
