Beth Ann McAllister, 59, died Thursday (Dec. 30, 2010) at her home in Newton.
She was born on August 28, 1951 in Winfield, Kansas, the daughter of Frank Augustus and Valetta Mae Lindley Patteson. She was raised in the Moline area, graduating from Moline High School in 1969.
Beth Ann married John Gardner in Winfield in 1970 and they later divorced. She married Mike McAllister in Wichita on September 22, 1979. They had lived in Wichita and Arizona.
She graduated from the Wichita School of Cosmotology in 1981 and worked as a stylist for several years. She loved her husband, quilting and her dogs.
Survivors include her brother Floyd Patteson of Palm Springs, Calif.; sister Neta Durbin and husband Reid of Moline, Ks.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Mike on January 23, 2010.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday (Jan. 15, 2011) at the Moline Cemetery, Moline, Ks.
There will be no visitation or viewing as cremation has been effected.
Arrangements are by Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, Newton, Ks.
