Bettie Joaquin Bradley went home on Sunday (August 26, 2012) at the age of 77.
She was born on November 11, 1934 in Monet, Missouri, the daughter of Walter Benjamin and Mattie Naomi Kennedy Bradley. Bettie graduated from high school in Monet in 1952.
Bettie had traveled extensively abroad while living in Germany. She moved from Purdy, Missouri to Newton in 1988, after which she worked at Axtell Clinic in the Lab as a secretary until retiring in 2000.
Survivors include her sister Anne (Pat) Crum of Weston, Colorado and her brother James Bradley of Parkville, Pennsylvania; three brothers and two nieces along with their families.
At her request, no services will be held as cremation has been effected.
A memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, contributions may be sent to Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, 120 E. Broadway, Newton, Ks. 67114.
