Betty I. Bean, 73, of Hillsboro, Ks., died Friday (October 7, 2016) at the Salem Home in Hillsboro.
She was born on April 11, 1943 in Newton, Ks., the daughter of Harry and Dolan Glass Geer.
Survivors include her husband, G.W. Bean of 46 years in Hillsboro; children Mark Hiebert of Mustang, Okla., Wendy Johnson of Lyons, Ks., and Shelly Schale of Hillsboro; two granddaughters Brittany and Tiffany Schale; and one brother Steve Geer.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents; step-mother Helen Geer; brother Harry “Butch” Geer, Jr.; sister Diane Geer.
Gravesside services and interment will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday (October 11, 2016) at the Greenwood Cemetery in Newton.
The casket will be open at the funeral home between 1:00pm and 8:00pm on Monday.
Arrangements are by Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, Newton.
