Brian E. Sadowsky, 44, was tragically taken from this world on February 25, 2016 at his place of employment, Excel in Hesston, Kansas.

Brian was born on June 22, 1971 in Newton, Kansas, the son of Loretta (Light) and Bruce Sadowsky. He was the youngest of five children.
On November 19th, 2012, Brian married the love of his life, his soulmate, Violet G. Drake. They eloped to Miami, OK and tied the knot. They were hoping to plan an actual wedding ceremony soon, to celebrate their marriage.

Brian had been employed at Excel in Hesston for nearly six years. Just about an hour before his death, he was promoted to Raptor Auto Tech. He also served as a safety representative for various departments at Excel. His family described him as a very dedicated, non-judgmental and trustworthy man. He was a hard working individual, and also was described as reliable. If someone needed him, or needed something done, he was the go-to man. They knew he could take care of the situation.

He was active with the Newton H.O.W., NA and worked as a liaison and provided support for other group members.

Violet shares that Brian was the most amazingly caring and loving husband and father. The bond they shared was incredible and admirable. When he wasn’t working or taking care of his family, Brian was a sports enthusiast. He was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan, L. A. Lakers fan, KU and Kansas City Royals fan, and also a Nascar fan. He loved animals and making people smile and be happy. Brian was comfortable being the “class clown.”

Survivors include his wife Violet and son Martain Wade, of the home; parents Loretta and Bruce Sadowsky, Derby; brother, Bruce Jr.and his children,Christopher Sadowsky, Tiffany Buyers, Daniel Sadowsky, Bruce Jr. and wife Laura, Arvada, CO and their son James Sadowsky; three sisters, Linda and husband Russell Tucker, Hutchinson, KS, and their daughter Jennifer Rucker and Lori Ignacio, Myrtle Beach, SC and her children Earnie Ignacio and Brandi Archibeque, and Iris and Gilbert Graevs, Derby,KS and their children Christina Hall, Dawn Armagost and Cheryl Aldrich.

Public visitation will be held at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, 120 E. Broadway, on Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 4rd, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at First Mennonite Church, 429 E. 1st, and Newton, Kansas.

There will be no burial following the service at the church. Cremation has taken place.

To honor Brians’ witty and amazingly “filter broken” sense of humor, the family requests, that very casual attire be worn. Those that knew him well knew that he preferred his humorous t-shirts and a pair of jeans. Please dress accordingly.
