Corbin John Gleason, 37, died Friday (June 8, 2018) at his home in Houston, Texas.
He was born on September 14, 1980 in Newton, Ks, the son of Dana and Bonnie Frey Gleason. Corbin graduated from Goessel High School in 1999 and later received his HVAC license from Wichita Area Technical College.
Corbin was a heavy equipment operator for several contractors in Wichita and Tulsa. He married Julie Deeter in March 2010, they had one daughter, Gracie Sue.
He moved to Texas in 2016 and married Christine Peet. Corbin continued to work in the construction business in the Houston area.
His favorite college football team was the Kansas State Wildcats, professional team, the Green Bay Packers, and racecar driver was Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and Jr.
Survivors include his parents Dana and Bonnie Gleason of Newton; daughter Gracie and her mother Julie of Newton; wife Christine of Houston; grandmother Mae Frey of Newton; and aunt Jenny Walker of Ft. Collins, Colo.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday (July 7, 2018) at the Tabor Mennonite Church, rural Newton, Ks.
A memorial has been established with the American Diabetes Association, contributions may be sent to Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, 120 E. Broadway, Newton, Ks. 67114.
