Corrine Needham, 88, North Newton, KS passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at Halstead Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Corrine was born January 23, 1920 in Pratt, KS the daughter of Fred and Grace (Saathoff) Shore. She had been a waitress at exclusive hotels, country clubs and resorts while she had resided in Phoenix and Denver. Corrine was an animal lover, especially cats, and she enjoyed her flower garden. She was an intelligent woman and always well informed about current events. Corrine was especially devoted to her children’s well being.
She had been married three times to Ted Hamm, Harry Achenbach, and John Needham.
Survivors include her son, Courtland Hamm of Newton, KS; daughter, Claire Moulden and her husband Ron of Westminster, CO. Grandchildren, Caren Hamm and Bill Steinberger.
She was preceded in death by a brother Roy Shore, sister Myrna Cockrum and her parents.
No services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Broadway Colonial Funeral Home.
