Daniel Cornelius Voth, 71, died March 22, 2008 at Asbury Park, Newton.
He was born February 18, 1937 in Newton to Edward and Bertha (Voth) Voth. They precede him in death. He attended schools in Newton graduating Newton High School in 1954. He was employed as a laborer by the Collins Bus Company. Daniel married Margaret Jesseph on June 5, 1960, she survives. He loved animals, was good with his hands, especially with woodworking and painting, was thoughtful and caring and an all around nice guy. He was a KU Jayhawks and Washington Redskins fan.
Preceding him in death were his parents and a son, David Wayne Voth and a brother-in-law, Roy Slender.
Survivors include sons, David and Vicki Voth of Hutchinson, KS, Terry and Angela Voth of Newton, KS, and Daniel C. Jr. and Audra Voth of Eureka, KS, daughters Goldie and Stephen Ketelboeter of Cornell, WI and Spring and Mark Tingen of Moundridge, KS,; Sisters Ella and Art Wiebe, Hillsboro, KS, Lois Slender, Emporia, KS; brother, Harold and Voth and Marcene, Fresno, CA; 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation is Monday, March 24, 2008 noon till 8:00 PM with family greeting friends from 6:00 P.M.-7:30P.M. Monday at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Services are 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at the Newton First Church of God with Pastor Brian Curran officiating.
