Danny Ray Reimer, 66, died at his home on Saturday, February 20, 2016 in Newton. He was born on December 3, 1950 to Freida (Swartz) and Bill Reimer in Newton, Kansas.
Danny was a member of The Church of God of The First Born in Newton. Attending church and spending time with his church family was very important to Danny. His presence will be very missed.
During his lifetime Danny had worked at the Bethel Deaconess Hospital for many years. He had many hobbies such as watching his favorite television show, Gunsmoke as well as music. Danny had a creative side as well. He made his own greeting cards, adding that extra charm and love to them. His friends describe him as being very artistic, which lead to him being presented at Art Award from Northview. Of all his time spent, his number one enjoyment was fishing. He spent hours fishing along the Sand Creek path, waiting on that “big one.”
Danny was humble and intelligent. He was loving and caring.
If you knew Danny, you knew what you meant to him. He will be greatly missed by his church family, Larry and Pat Estrada, Mike Brackeen and many, many more.
Visitation for Danny will be held on Tuesday, February 23rd, 2016 at The Church of God of The First Born, 125 E 10th St, Newton, from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. with the family and friends greeting from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M.
