David Kasitz, 60, died on January 15, 2014 in Wichita, Kansas.
David was born on June 3, 1953 in Wichita, KS and was adopted at six days old by Harry and Grace Kasitz.
He grew up in Council Grove and later resided in the Walton area. David was employed by AGCO for the last 26 years.
David attended college at Emporia State earning his teaching degree.
Preceding him in death was his mother, Grace Kasitz.
Survivers include his father, Harry Kasitz; brother, Robert Kasitz, both of Newton, KS; niece, Lindsey McRoy and husband Josh of Katy, TX; nephew, Lance Kasitz of Wichita; great nephew, Jaxon Mc Roy, and great niece Kynade, both of Katy, TX.
A Celebration of David’s Life will be on Monday, January 20, 2014, at 10:30 A.M. at the United Church of Christ at 210 E. 4th, Newton, KS. Pastor Doug Ingmire will be presiding.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 19, 2014 from 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with the family receiving guests from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery, Rural Newton, Kansas.
