Edna Margaret Entz, 89, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at the Presbyterian Manor in Newton, Kansas.

Edna was born on October 26, 1924 in Meade, Kansas to Abraham and Margaretha Enns. She married Willard Entz on June 7, 1950 in Meade, Kansas, and they made their home on the farm near Newton, Kansas where she was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Leonard Enns, Frank Enns, and Herb Enns, and sisters Leona Entz, Linda Enns, and Caroline Fransen.

Edna is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Willard C. Entz, her four children; Dorothy Lee and husband Jim of Kansas City, Missouri, Larry Entz and wife Carol of Newton, Kansas, Joleen Ewert and husband Warren of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and Lowell Entz and wife Susan of Yukon, Oklahoma. She was blessed with nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also left to cherish her memory are brothers Arthur Enns and wife Ruby of Worth, Illinois, Richard Enns of Wichita, sisters Ruby Enns of Meade, Kansas and Jane Thielenhaus and husband John of Norton, Ohio.

Visitation at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home in Newton, Kansas will be from 1–8 pm on Sunday, January 26, 2014 with family greeting guests from 6-8 pm.

A celebration of her life will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, January 27, 2014 at the Grace Community Church with Pastor David Reimer officiating. Interment will be in the Restlawn Gardens of Memory west of Newton, under the direction of Broadway Colonial Funeral Home.
