Hildo Villar, 84, died Sunday (October 18, 2020) at the Newton Medical Center.
He was born on April 12, 1936 the son of Gerardo and Florentina Mata Villar.
After graduating from the Kansas State School for the Blind in Kansas City, Kansas, Hildo went to work for Hesston Hay & Forage where he was machinist for 30 years.
He is survived by his sister Augustina Gamboa of Kanorado, Ks.; several nieces and nephews; along with his longtime friend Robert Sandoval of Newton.
Hildo is preceded in death by his parents; brothers William, Augustine, Joseph and Arthur; and sisters Guadalupe Macias, Marjorie Fisher and Christine Kennedy.
The casket will be open at the funeral home on Thursday (Oct. 22nd) between 1:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday (Oct. 23rd) at the Broadway Colonial Funeral Home in Newton. Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Newton.
