Inez Allen

Jesus wrapped his arms around her, when Inez Allen went to be with the Lord on January 12, 2011 at her home in rural Sedgwick.
She was born on October 24, 1930 the daughter of Erma Mae (Rhoades) and Elmer Tallent in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas.
Inez retired from her position in the avionics electrical division of Cessna Aircraft, after 35 years of service.
On August 8th, 1975, she married Johnny Allen at the Broadway Christian Church in Wichita, Kansas.
She had many hobbies and enjoyments in life, but her favorite was tending to her rose garden and farming with Johnny.
Preceding her in death was a daughter, Becky Hanna and a son Billy Calvin, along with her parents.
Survivors include Johnny Allen and Dexter, her beloved Boston terrier (her little cowboy). of Sedgwick, daughter, Tonda Ferrando, Trinidad, CA; Aunt Catherine Baird, El Dorado, KS; step-children, Brenda Campbell, Randy Allen, Marty Allen, Terri Martinez, Sandra Sherman; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren
A Celebration of Life will be held at the family home, located at 1201 E. 117th N., Sedgwick, KS, on Saturday, January 22nd from 12:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.
A private family committal service will be held.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of Kansas, in care of the funeral home at, 120 E. Broadway, Newton, KS 67114.
