Jacqueline Marie “Jackie” Haas, 47, of Tulsa , died Tuesday (Feb. 17, 2009) at the home of her aunt in North Newton , Ks.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, APRIL 11, 2009 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Loretto, Kansas. Inurnment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Jackie was born on March 6, 1961 in Hay, Ks., the daughter of Vernon and Patricia Breit Haas . The family had lived in Chamberlain, S.D., Wray , Colo. , Sterling , Colo. , until moving to Burlington , Colorado where she graduated from high school. She later graduated from Benedictine College in Atchison , Ks., where she received her degree.
She moved to Claremore , Oklahoma and later to Tulsa where Jackie worked for many years at Blue Cross/Blue Shield Medicare in Tulsa .
Survivors include her father Vernon Haas of Ft. Morgan, Colo.; one brother Robert Haas of Loveland , Colo. ; two sisters JoAn Price of Leesburg, Virginia and Francie Young of Ft. Morgan, Colo.; her aunt Joan Breit of North Newton, Ks.; and her longtime companion Larry Gullette of the home in Tulsa.
Jackie is preceded in death by her mother.
