Jonathan Gonzalez Wake

Jonathan Gonzalez Wake joined us briefly the morning of May 20, 2009. He then rejoined our Lord in eternity. Although we held him only briefly, he will remain in our hearts always.
Jonathan was born at the Newton Medical Center in Newton, Ks., the son of Baillye S. Wake and Thomas Gilbert Gonzalez, both of Newton.
Other survivors include maternal grandparents Katrina Hinshaw, and Jim & Diane Wake; paternal grandparents, Gilbert Gonzalez & Leatha Cool, and Karen Lee and Dave Lee; maternal great grandparents, Marilyn Wake; aunts Anna Gonzalez, Olivia Gonzalez, Kyrie Wake, and Dakota Lee; and uncles James Wake and Alex Cain.
He is preceded in death by maternal great grandparents, Gene & Georgia Sills, and Eddie Walker; and paternal great grandparents, Hope Gonzalez and Janice Brown.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 5:00 P.M., Sunday, May 31, 2009.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, June 1, 2009.
Both services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Newton.
Interment will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Newton.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
