Jordan Harris, 19, of Newton, died Saturday (April 21, 2012) at the result of an automobile accident.
He was born on April 16, 1993 in Lyons, Kansas, the son of Christopher Harris and Elizabeth A. (Turner) Harris.
Jordan graduated from Newton High School in the spring of 2011.. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, creative writing, playing video games, and watching movies. Jordan loved being around animals and they loved him too, he was a great people person and always was helping other people.
Jordan was the owner of Print-N-Ship in downtown Newton.
Survivors include his parents; brothers David, Kelsey and Aaron Harris; sister Amber Harris; maternal grandfather Mike LaViolette; paternal great grandmother Helen Harris; two nephews Andrew and Evan Harris.
Jordan is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and his paternal grandfather.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday (April 26, 2012) at the Broadway Colonial Funeral Home.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 1pm til 8pm where the family will receive friends between 6 and 8.
A memorial has been established to assist Jordan’s family with burial expenses, contributions to the Jordan Harris Burial Expenses Fund at Midland National Bank or the Elizabeth Harris Family Expenses Fund at Bank of America both in Newton.
Arrangements are by Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, Newton.
