Katheryn A. Preston, 86, of Newton, died Saturday (Feb. 26, 2011) at the Newton Medical Center.
She was born on December 27, 1924 in Walton, Ks.
Survivors include her brother Dennis Albright and his wife Linda of Mission, Ks.; her grandchildren William Tiede, Colleen Jackson, Venise Polite, Heather Tiede; and seven great grandchildren.
Katheryn is preceded in death by her parents; husband Paul Preston; son Michael Tiede.
Private family inurnment will be held at the Walton Cemetery.
There will be no visitation as cremation has been effected.
