Lois Chambers, 82, went to be with her Lord on, June 10, 2013, with family by her side.
She was born on November 30, 1930 in Navarre, Kansas to Harry and Irene (Stott) Larsen at their home. Lois was proud to have the Dane ancestry.
Lois was a proud wife and homemaker. She was active in her childrens’ activities and attended their many sporting events and assisted scouts.
Lois was raised a Dunkard Brethren, in Dickinson County, Kansas wither great grandfather, The Reverend John Humbargar. She stayed active in the Church of the Brethren church through her lifetime, helping with numerous church activities and Bible school.
Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Robert L. Chambers, Newton; 4 children, son, Steve and Vicki Chambers, Elk City, OK, daughter, Vickie and Leroy Dyck, Newton, son, Tim and Connie Chambers, Hutchinson and daughter, Chris Lehr, Wichita, KS; 10 Grandchildren: Stephanie (Dyck)and Brian Brown, Jessica (Dyck) and David Evans, Emily Dyck, Sarah (Chambers) and Pat Senger, Carrie Chambers, Staci(Chambers) and Blake Wedel, Jeremy Chambers, Kevin and Traci Chambers, Kimberly (Chambers) and Will Tate, and Sean and Jennifer Lehr; 13 Great-Grandchildren.
10 Grandchildren an d 13 great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Private family sevices will be held.
