Loretta Marie Sadowsky, 80, died Friday (January 1, 2021) at her home in Derby.
She was born on October 8, 1940 in Wichita. Loretta was raised in Newton where she also attended schools.
She married Bruce Edward Sadowsky, Sr. on July 16, 1963 in El Dorado, Ks. They lived in Newton.
She was a machinist at Agco, Inc., in Hesston for over 30 years before retiring in 2007. Loretta and Bruce moved to Derby in 2011 where she had worked at the Dollar Tree Store.
Loretta was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Nascar fan. Even though she did not have any issues with drugs or alcohol, Loretta was a longtime supporter of Narcotics Anonymous.
Survivors include her husband Bruce of the home in Derby; son Bruce Sadowsky, Jr and wife Laura of Arvada, Colo.; daughters Linda Tucker and husband Russell of Hutchinson and Lori Ignacio of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; brother Glenn Muder of Temple, Tex.; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Loretta is preceded in death by her mother Helen Marie Light; son Brian E. Sadowsky; and two sisters Duana and Marcene.
The casket will be open at the funeral home on Tuesday (January 5, 2020) between 1:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.
There will not be any services held.
