Margaret Jean Voth, died on September 21, 2016, at the Golden Living Center in El Dorado, Kansas. She was born in Iola, Kansas on April 6, 1944 to Goldie May (Laymon) and Henry Morgan Jesseph.
Margaret held a church membership with Eureka Bible Baptist Church.
She worked the majority of her lifetime preparing meals for different organizations. Her last position, Margaret had worked as the Food Service Supervisor. Cooking was among her hobbies. Every Sunday, when her family was younger, they would gather together for a big Sunday dinner. Margaret would spend two days preparing the meal to share with her loved ones. She was also fond of fishing and spending time with her grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents, her spouse Daniel C. Voth, a brother Robert Jesseph; three great grandchildren, Arianna, Jacob and Joseph.
Survivors include three sons, David and wife Vicki, Hutchinson, Terry, Hutchinson, daughter-in-law Angela, Eureka, and Daniel Jr. and wife Patty, Eurkea, KS; two daughters, Goldie and husband Stephan Ketelboeter, Cornell, WI, and Spring and Mark Tingen, Newton; two brothers, Gerald and wife Barbara, Texas and Junior and wife Theresa, Chanute, KS; three sisters, Colletta and husband Rex Green, Emporia, Carol and husband Carl Trester, Chanute, KS and Linda and husband Robert Young, South Carolina; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home in Newton, Kansas, from 1:00 -8:00 P.M. with the family greeting from 4:00-6:00 P.M.
Funeral Services will be on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at The Father’s House in Hutchinson, Kansas. Pastor Quinton Moore will be presiding.
Cremation will take place after the service. There will be a private family committal at a later time.
