Maria DeLaRosa

Maria DeLaRosa, 77, of Wichita, died Saturday (April 2, 2022) at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis Medical Center in Wichita, Ks.

She as born on August 25, 1944 in Durango, Mexico, the daughter of Doroteo Robles and Rose Treto. Maria married Samuel DeLaRosa on December 25, 1959 in Laguna Grande, Zacatecas, Mexico.

While living in Mexico she was a farm girl. They moved to the Wichita area in 2006.

Survivors include her husband Samuel of the home; her children Herlinda DeLaRosa of Wichita, Silvia Vargas of Benton, Ks., Samuel DeLaRosa of Valley Center, Felipe DeLaRosa of Wichita, Salomon DeLaRosa of Valley Center, Cevero DeLaRosa of Benton, Santos DeLaRosa of Wichita, Maria Ines Banuelos of Valley Center, Jenny Verdin of Wichita, Angelica DeLaRosa of Mexico, and Lupe DeLaRosa of Valley Center; two siblings Abdon Robles and Isidra Robles both of Mexico; 43 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

Maria is preceded in death by her parents; son Teresa DeLaRosa; and siblings Arnulfo Robles, Francisco Robles, Maria Robles, and Juan Robles.

The casket will be open at the funeral home on Friday (April 8^th) between 12:00 Noon and 5:00 P.M.

The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be 7:00 P.M., Friday (April 8^th) at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Newton.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:00 A.M., Saturday (April 9^th) at the church. Interment will be in the Kechi Cemetery, Kechi, Kansas.
