Our little man, Maverick Aleczander Polley, became a beautiful angel on Wednesday (May 7, 2014). Maverick was born on September 10, 2013 at the Newton Medical Center to the parents Taegan Curtis and Jack Polley. Maverick died of complications from a viral pneumonia at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
Maverick would meet everyone with a breathtaking smile that would melt even the coldest of hearts and would welcome any hug he could get. He took enjoyment in everything he could crawl to and get his hands on. His smile can be seen in the rays of light that touch the Earth.
Maverick is survived by his parent, Taegan and Jack; and grandparents Amy Curtis, Chris Callahan, Tim and Cathy Polley, and David and Sherri Segura.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be said at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday (May 14, 2014).
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday (May 14, 2014) both at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday 9am til 8pm, where the family will receive friends between 6 and 8pm.
The Maverick Polley Memorial Fund has been established at Midland National Bank, contributions may be left at the bank.
The family again would like to thank all who have Maverick and his family in their thoughts and prayers.
