Mrs. Evelyn Loren Gates Belgard, died on May 24, 2008 at The Lutheran Home in WaKeeny, Kansas.
She was born the daughter of Arthur (A.C.) Gates and Emma Fluke in Newton, Kansas.
Evelyn forming belonged to the First United Presbyterian Church, 20th Century Club of Wichita, Ateliar Club, Secretary of JOB's Daughters, and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Preceding her in death are her parents and her husband.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathryn and her husband James, Wakeeny; sister, Bernice Anderson, Houston, TX; 3 grandchildren, Drew Cleland, Marshall Cleland and Elizabeth Harvey; 11 great grandchildren.
The family will hold a private service. Friends may sign the book on Thursday, May 29th and Friday, May 30th from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church or the Midian Shrine Children's Hospital in care of the funeral home.
Broadway Colonial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
