Norma Voth Martinez of Goessel, KS, formerly of Aurora, IL and Payson, AZ, passed away on June 15, 2017 at the Bethesda Home in Goessel.
She was born on August 9, 1924, to the late Henry F. and Elizabeth (Schmidt) Voth of Goessel.
A graduate of Grace Memorial Hospital, Hutchinson, Kansas, Norma worked as a registered nurse for more than 30 years at Copley Memorial Hospital, Aurora, Illinois. During World War II she was a member of the U. S. Cadet Nurse Corps.
She is survived by her daughters, Kristin Mosier (Kevin Wheeler) of Payson, Arizona, and Marcia D’Arcy (Dan) and granddaughter Elizabeth of Colonia, New Jersey. Norma is also survived by her sister, Lila Harris of rural Newton, Kansas, brother Ernie (Rose) of Buffalo Mills, Pennsylvania, sister in law, Rosie Voth of Hesston, Kansas, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
She was proceeded in death by Roland, her husband of 54 years (1999), brother Alfred Voth and sister Marna Abrahams.
Memorial services will be held on Friday (September 29, 2017) at 10 a.m. at Tabor Mennonite Church, 891 Chisholm Trail, Newton, Kansas.
