Patricia Lou Willingham, 57, of Newton died Tuesday (March 3, 2009) at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Ks.
She was born on November 15, 1951 in Joplin, Missouri, the daughter of Oscar Richard and Dorothy Jean King Bray. Patricia graduated from Joplin High School. She married
David Ray Willingham on July 31, 1973 in Memphis, Tenn.
They had lived in Emporia, Kansas for many years until moving to Kansas City, Missouri. The Willingham’s moved to Newton in 2005.
She was a member of the New Life Assembly of God Church in Newton.
Patricia is survived by her husband David Ray of the home; two daughters Rebecca
Vallecillo-Sanders of Oro Valley, Ariz., and Ladonna Willingham of Florence, Ks.;
her parents Richard and Dorothy Bray of Joplin, Mo.; two brothers Donald Bray of
Austin, Tex., and Raymond Bray of Fountain Valley, Calif.; two sisters Marsha Crowder of Layton, Utah and Rebecca Rich of Webb City, Mo.; seven grandchildren Natalie Vallecillo, Aaron Vallecillo, Elvis Vallecillo, Celeste Vallecillo, Eden McKinney, Lacey Willingham, and MaKayla West.
She is preceded in death by one brother Ronald Bray.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, March 9, 2009 at the New Life Assembly of God Church in Newton. Private family inurnment will be held later.
There will be no visitation as cremation has been effected.
