Patrick Ray Vidacs, 40, of Newton, died Tuesday (Nov. 9, 2010) at the home of his mother in Newton.
He was born on February 4, 1970 in Newton. He attended schools in Newton, graduating in 1989. The last several years he has been a CNC Machinist for Product Manufacturing Corp. in Wichita.
Patrick had received his Third Degree in the Knights of Columbus recently. For several years he has been involved in Tae Kwon Do through Ultimate Martial Arts in Newton, having a First Degree Black Belt and winning a State Championship.
Survivors include his children Alex Vidacs and April Vidacs; his former wife Elisa Dee Buller all of Newton; his father Robert Vidacs of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; his mother Lucy Hernandez-Palacioz Vidacs of Newton; one sister Andrea Dekat Buckholtz of Topeka; plus many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Patrick is preceded in death by his grandparents Ramond and Barbara Hernandez and Karl and Josephine Vidacs.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be said at 7:00 P.M., Friday (Nov. 12, 2010) with the Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday (Nov. 13, 2010) both at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Newton.
Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
The casket will be open at the funeral home Friday 9am til 5pm
