Robbie E. (Madison) Cheever, 25, died Monday (July 11, 2011) at his home in Newton.
He was born on May 19, 1986 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Robbie attended Centre High School in Lost Springs, Kansas where he played football and baseball. He moved to Newton within the last seven years.
Robbie loved to fish and camp, anything that had to do with the outdoors. He was a young man with a big heart who loved children. Robbie enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics.
Robbie has a lot of friends and family who will miss him.
Robbie was adopted as a child, he is survived by his adoptive parents Ronald Cheever of Ponca City, Okla., Marvena Simpson Cheever of Arkansas City, Ks.; adoptive brother Jimmy Cheever of Salina, Ks.; adoptive sister Chrissy Cheever-Michalak of Newkirk, Okla.
Robbie is also survived by his biological parents Billy Madison, Sr., of Jonesboro, Ark., Rachel Keys Madison of Leavenworth, Ks.; biological brother Billy Madison, Jr., and biological sister Lisa Madison both Leavenworth.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday (July 18, 2011) at St. Matthews Episcopal Church in Newton.
There will be no visitation.
