Robert “Bob” Vidacs, age 79, born in Yugoslavia and resident of Newton, Kansas, left this world peacefully and found his spot in heaven on April 26, 2023.
In his young adult days, Bob was 82nd Airborne in the Army during the Vietnam War. After his military service, he moved from Pennsylvania to Newton, Kansas where he met his beautiful wife, Lucy. He worked at Boeing as a machinist until retirement. They had two beautiful kids and spent life loving each other and those around them.
Bob was a strong-willed man, who fought through a life full of hardships, but always had a smile on his face and something silly to say.
He is survived by his wife, Lucy Vidacs, Daughter and Son-In-Law, Andrea & Darryl Kabins, Daughter-In-Law, Dee Herron, Sisters, Helen Turnista and Eva Betlyon, Nephew and housemate, Russell Hernandez, Grandchildren, Tressa Dennett, Farrah Gilmere, Aden Dekat, April Vidacs, Alex Vidacs, Logan Thompson, Liana Kabins and Gabriela Kabins, and his canine companion, Louisa as well as many more close friends and family.
Bob is proceeded in death by his son, Patrick Vidacs and parents Karl and Josephine Vidacs.
Services will be held at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home in Newton, Kansas on Wednesday, May 3 at 10am. Grave side to follow.
