Roberto A. Sandoval, 56, of Newton, died Friday (December 12, 2014) at the Newton Medical Center.
He was born on August 28, 1958 in El Salvador, the son of Jose Eulalio Avila and Maria Angelina Lemus. Roberto moved to Newton in 1981.
He had worked at Hehr International in Newton for many years.
Survivors include his mother Maria Lemus of Newton; brother Oscar Avila and his wife Maria Garcia of Newton; sisters Delmira DeBow Morrow of Olathe, Ks., Ana Morrow of Kansas City, Ks., and Mirian Martinez of El Salvador; along with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M., Thursday (December 18, 2014) at the Broadway Colonial Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Newton.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 1pm til 8pm where the family will receive friends between 5 and 7pm.
Arrangements are by Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, Newton.
