Ronald “Ronnie” Clyde Baxter, Jr., of Newton, died Saturday (June 28, 2014) at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Ks.
He was born on August 24, 1971 in Toledo, Ohio, the son of Ronald Clyde and Carol Forrester Baxter, Jr. Ronnie was raised in Sand Springs, Oklahoma and graduated from high school in Pea Ridge, Arkansas.
Ronnie married Tisha Jean Anderson on July 27, 2002 in Wichita. They continued to live in Wichita until moving to Newton a year ago.
Ronnie had been a member of the Iron Workers Union in Wichita for several years.
Survivors include his wife Tisha of the home in Newton; children Ronnie, III, Katie, Braeden and Melissa; his parents Ron and Carol of Sand Springs, Okla.; sisters Kelli & Scott McIntosh, Staci & Steve Woodruff, Traci & Chris Mayfield; his grandfather Kenneth Forrester; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday (July 8, 2014) at the Faith Mennonite Church in Newton.
There will be no viewing as cremation has been effected.
A memorial has been established with the Kidney Foundation, contributions may be sent to Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, 120 E. Broadway, Newton, Ks. 67114.
