Steven Danny Moran III, 37, died, September 10, 2010 at his home in Newton.
He was born on April 1st, 1973 in Newton, Kansas.
Steven attended schools in the Newton school district and graduated high from Newton High School in 1991. While he was in high school, Steven helped to start the first Newton High Soccer program.
After high school, he attended a trade school, with interest in the mechanic program.
On July 17, 2005, he married Heather D. Blair in Newton, Kansas.
Steven enjoyed watching the Nascar races, and soccer games. He also loved his family dearly.
Survivors include, his wife Heather, and a daughter Elizabeth Dawn, both of Newton, his mother, Kathy Moran, Newton and his maternal grandmother, Mary Moore, Newton, KS.
Preceding him in death was his maternal grandfather.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 14th, from 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
Private Family Graveside Services will be held prior to the Memorial Service.
A Memorial Service will be held also on Wednesday, at the Country Acres Baptist Church, in Wichita at 2:00 P.M. The Rev. Kelly Randolph will be presiding.
Memorials may be made to the Moran Children’s Fund, in care of the funeral home, at 120 E. Broadway, Newton, KS 67114.
