Susan Swan

Susan Elaine Swan 62, passed away on September 10^th 2018.

Susan was born in Liberal KS on June 2^nd 1956. She attended school at Turpin Oklahoma and Liberal KS. As an adult she graduated as a radiology technician and had a career in the medical field. Susan established one of the first cell phone businesses in KS, and had a long career in Real Estate in several states.

She is predeceased by her parents James and Dorothy Swan.

She is survived by her daughter Kylie (Nick) Dillon and grandsons Drew and Cole of Newton. Sisters; Annette (Mark) Massoni and Jan (Stan) Foster from Turpin Oklahoma. Nieces and nephews; Hayley Smith, Jordan Massoni, Jeremy Foster and Jacey Wellendorf. Gary Franz and family, Marilyn Jo Franz, Stillwater OK, Rich Glover, Newton KS and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Susan was a woman of great faith. She was a witness to all friends and family of the power of love, forgiveness, and walking in the path of Jesus. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandsons. She was greatly loved.    

A service celebrating her life will be held at the Hesston Mennonite Church in Hesston, KS at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 13^th.

A family burial at the Turpin Mennonite Cemetery in Turpin, OK, will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, September 14^th, with visitation at the church following.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established Hesston Mennonite Church or Caring Hands Humane Society. Contributions may be sent to Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, 120 E. Broadway, Newton, Ks. 67114.
