Tia Smith

Tia Lyn Smith, 52, of Newton, KS passed away December 11,2018 at home surrounded by her family.

She was born on September 29, 1966 in Denver, CO and grew to womanhood in
Moundridge, KS.

After marriage in the 1990's, she birthed three sons, Daniel, Dylan, Joshua and a daughter Kady. They were absolutely the love of her life.

She loved working at ResCare as a home health aide, the residents loved her and she loved them.

Later in life she enjoyed fishing and hunting with her friend and partner-in-crime, Jason Kasper.

She is survived by her parents Ross & Sandy VanCuren of Peabody, KS, brother, Todd Smith of Hutchinson, KS. Grandchildren Katalaya, Arianna, Diego, Dominic, Lakynn, Izley, Layla, Bryson, Colton and Zanden who is due anyday. She is also survived by "Pops" Gary McCloud of Newton, KS.

A Private family service will be held Saturday, December 15, 2018.
