William “Bill” Alexander, 59, died on November 7, 2010 at Harry Hynes Hospice in Wichita, Kansas.
He was born on May 24, 1951 in Denver, CO.
Bill graduated from the Mound City High School,then went on to complete two years at Fort Scott Junior College. Bill also served three years with the United States Navy.
Following that, he wisely used he G.I. bill to further his education and attended Wichita State University and achieved his Bachelor’s Degree and followed with his Physcian’s Assistant degree.
He married Tamera J. Clark on August 14, 2006 in Newton, Kansas.
Bill and Tammy held a membership with The Father’s House church family in Newton.
Survivors include, his wife Tamera; 2 sons, Brian and Caitie Alexander, Hoisington, KS, Bill and Nicole Stagner, Newton; 3 daughters, Lisa and Eric Bushnell, Tulsa, OK, Andrea Alexander, KC, KS, and Ashley Stagner, Newton; brother, Danny L. and wife Gail, Tucson, AZ ; sister, Robbie and husband John Robertson, Belle Vista, Arkansas; 2 grandchildren, Kyler Bushnell and Gaven Stagner; sister –in-law and brother in-law, Coleen and Jerry Rodgers, Independence, KS and Mother and Father in-law, Robert and Bertha Clark, McPherson, KS.; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Pat and Mary Landers and a daughter, Becky Alexander.
Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 8, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at The Father’s House in Newton, KS.
Visitation will be at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with the family greeting from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Harry Hynes Hospice or the American Diabetes Association, in care of the funeral home.
